John Cleese at Hackensack Meridian Health Theatre

Comedy legend John Cleese brings his distinctive wit to Hackensack Meridian Health Theatre at the Count Basie Center for the Arts in Red Bank, New Jersey, on April 11, 2027. A founding member of Monty Python and co-creator of Fawlty Towers, Cleese has built a celebrated career across television, film, and live performance. His best-known work includes the Python classics “The Ministry of Silly Walks” and Monty Python and the Holy Grail, as well as the famously chaotic hotel comedy Fawlty Towers.

Cleese's sharply observed humor and commanding stage presence have made his live appearances a treat for longtime fans and comedy newcomers alike. This Red Bank date is listed as a one-night event; a tour name and opening act have not been specified. For visitors coming from nearby Peekskill, the theatre offers a chance to make an evening of the trip in Red Bank, a Monmouth County town with a lively downtown near the Navesink River.
